Report: Using Dublin Core

The new version of the Dublin Core Metadata Initiative (DCMI) guide, Using Dublin Core, is available. Created by Diane Hillmann, it replaces a version that was nearly two years old.

{ I had originally called this an OCLC guide. Thank, Diane, for correcting me.}

Hi Jill:

Thanks for promoting "Using Dublin Core"--I should mention that although OCLC has been a supporter of DCMI, the guide is not an "OCLC guide," and should perhaps more properly be known as a "DCMI guide." DCMI is the acronym for the "Dublin Core Metadata Initiative"--the maintenance body for the Dublin Core.
